Gert De Maeyer, CFA, CAIA

Gert De Maeyer has been Deputy Head of Solutions Development since 2022, and senior investment solutions manager at Candriam since 2017. He joined Candriam in 2003 as a Structured Products asset manager before becoming Head of Structured Products in 2006. He became Deputy Head of Alternative Investment Solutions in 2010. In 2017, he became Senior Investment Solutions Manager. 

He began his career as fixed income investment manager at ING Investment Management in 1999.

Gert has a Commercial Engineering degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. He is a CFA Charterholder, a CAIA Charterholder (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst), and holds an FRM designation (Financial Risk Management).
