Benjamin Chekroun has been Lead Engagement Analyst at Candriam since 2025. He joined the Voting and Engagement Team in 2020, responsible for ethics, human rights, and social engagements as an Engagement and Voting Analyst. He lectures in both Sustainable Finance, and Volatility Arbitrage, for the Master 2 Asset Management degree at Paris Dauphine University.
He joined Candriam in 2018 as Deputy Head of Convertible Bonds, after spending nearly two decades managing convertible bond portfolios and trading bonds in Asia, London, New York, and Paris.
Benjamin holds a Masters degree in international business from the Weller International School in Paris.

The United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) urge companies to respect human rights and correct abuses when they occur.
